update 4/8/25: you can still give ideas but i'm not sure I'm doing this concept anymore i wanna make a an RPG game that takes place entirely on a whiteboard (that is, all the art is drawn on an irl whiteboard). i have something that basically scans what's on the whiteboard and gives me an image from it. plus im kinda burnt out with 4.0 and GTS lol. Probably turn-based so I can mess with items, that stuff’s fun. Though I also like the idea of fighting enemies Zelda-style in a 2D open world instead of just going through a bunch of menus cause turn-based combat often feels kinda anticlimactic and boring to me. Maybe I can find some new ways to make turn-based feel more lively, interesting, and dare i say… fun? Huh. I know next to nothing about game design, but I might have a few ideas…
