green flag and space - not a game this time
these are just two drawing I've made. they're supposed to be some sort of Nepenthes (tropical pitcher plant). I made these because on 5/21/2023, I got my first pitcher plant Nepenthes "Bill Bailey" which is actually a hybrid between Nepenthes singalana and Nepenthes ventricosa. I haven't posted any pictures yet, but I will on my main account. Carnivorous plants can be amazing plants to have, just remember to research about them first. The basic care on Nepenthes is that they should be planted in sphagnum moss, perlite, or some other substrate that is low in nutrients and drains well. Unlike other carnivorous plants, they should not sit water, just make sure the substrate is always damp. They tend to need higher humidity. This can be achived by having them in a greenhouse or a terrarium (it's best to only keep small one in terrariums). Some species like nepenthes veitchii doesn't need extreme humidity, but will still benefit from humidity. It's best for them to have indirect sunlight from an east-facing windowsill. Only water with rain water, distilled water, or reverse osmosis water or any other water with extremely low mineral content. High amounts of minerals will kill the plant. Feed them around every two weeks (this can vary depending on size and species).
