Project #142 [NOT WITHIN FACILITY] Description: Medium-sized bicolour cat with black and white fur, red eyes and computer screens on hindquarters and left of face. Date of commencement: 05/05/2056 Age (if applicable): Unknown, likely 4-5 years. Origin: Deceased stray. Intelligence: High. Control: By default self-controlled. Remotely controllable [not working]. Life to computer ratio: Body: 3:1; Brain 1:2 Function: Nothing responding. Problem unidentifiable. Risk level: Unknown. Project #142, nicknamed “Frankie” by some very creative scientists, was a failed experiment. She was a stray cat, and was killed in a car crash with no one to care about her. Her corpse was reassembled, with a hybrid computer-brain to control her body and flexible screens instead of skin installed in places, in an attempt to combine computers with life and create a new kind of creature. At first the project seemed to be going well. She was docile, if a little skittish. But she soon became too intelligent for her own good and tried to run away from her enclosure. She never managed to get to the outside world, and reprogramming was attempted to iron out the bugs. It didn’t work. Some months later, she escaped from a truck taking her, along with other experiments, to a new research facility. Her computers crashed without rigorous maintenance, and her thoughts, mood and behaviour are no longer coherent. She was last spotted somewhere off the road in a cave system.
