〖 Press the green flag to begin the recording 〗 yourclassical.org didn't have the recording for this, so I don't have the front page that the website would usually provide. Instead, I used Ray Chen's Golden Age cover album.
〖 Soloist · Ray Chen 〗 Ray Chen is a famous Taiwanese-Australian violinist born in 1989 in Taipei, Taiwan. He began to learn violin at the age of four (like the true prodigy he is), and within 10 years was invited to play in the 1998 Winter Olympics in Japan. He earned many awards such as Young Space Musician of the Year in Brisbane, the Sydney May Memorial Scholarship, and the Licentiate Diploma of Music at the age of 11. In 2002, he won the Australian National Youth Concerto Competition, and in 2005, the Kendall National Violin Competition. With a Bachelor of Music, Ray marched on to earn first place in the Queen Elisabeth Competition as the youngest participant and launched a concert tour soon after. He also appeared in many famous ceremonies and TV shows and was the youngest judge in the Mehuin Competition. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 〖 Accompany · London Philharmonic Orchestra 〗 The London Philharmonic Orchestra, also known as the LPO, is one of five famous orchestras that originated from London. They were founded in the 1930s by chaps named Sir Thomas Beechman and Malcolm Sergant, rivaling the London Symphony and BBC Symphony Orchestras of the time. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 〖Conductor · Robert Trevino〗 Robert Trevino is Mexican-American. Currently, he is the Music Director of the Basque National Orchestra and Artistic Advisor of the Malmo Symphony Orchestra. He went to school at the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in conducting and formed his own orchestra. ------------------------------Extra note----------------------------- a.k.a. the soloist roasting section (plz don't report) My teacher does not recommend Ray Chen for some reason I cannot figure out. His sound is amazing (partly from the strad he's probably using), he's expressive, and he's everything I want to be. Back to my violin teacher, he said something about how "there's too much happening on his face," which means that from time to time it looks like he wants to go to the bathroom really bad. Well, this is an audio recording, so I guess it's fine...
