Information in the project. Apply with this bio: Name of cat you’re applying for Will they have any disabilities/disorders? If they do, please provide sufficient research, explain how this will affect their behaviour, and send at least one link. // Codeword (hide in a sentence) // Any accessories/changes to the design? Please describe with detail or remix with a drawing of the accessories and/or changes to the design. // Other Name: Sidney Why did I choose them?: Well, I just saw the design, and instantly connected with the design. I know it’s not complicated, and it’s more simple, but sometimes the more simple things on life are the best things. Also, I’m a sucker for black or white (or both) cats. Pronouns: I think that Sidney wouldn’t really care what their labels were, and would be pretty chill about pronouns, allowing people to use any they wanted. They don’t really understand the full meaning behind them, and just go with the flow. They don’t really have a gender, but they don’t have no gender either. They just have no opinions. They’ll use loads of different pronouns, which ever people feel comfortable with. Personality: Sidney is pretty laid-back, liking to just go with the flow. They just do what they want, when they want. And sometimes, they just do nothing. Relax, and all that. Sidney can seem pretty uncaring a lot of the time, and understandingly. They don’t show much emotion, but they don’t seem cold. Just calm, and maybe slightly lazy. They do care about people, they just don’t feel things strongly. And they don’t know how to express it. They really enjoy their comfort time, and will spend hours upon end laying on their rug. However, they’re also quite spiritual. They love to meditate, and connect with the world. They don’t believe in Starclan, but they believe that everything has a soul, and you can connect to those, and find inner peace. They are very peaceful, and conflict avoiding. Violence makes them squeamish. They can seem a little odd, and are rather plump, due to lack of exercise. They also don’t go out much, and don’t make that much friends. But they do have a strange habit. They make friends with objects. Not all objects, just special ones. Maybe a Chinese fan, or an Indian elephant figurine! They collect items like this, and they’ll talk to them. They like listening to their housefolk’s music, and enjoy watching the bright colours on the strange magic box. Altogether, they’re always there for their owners, and although they might not be a ‘people’ person, they’ll always have friends. They love to day-dream, and are often lost in thought. Also, although they’re pretty laid back, they do worry. They might get some real friends, and when they do, they’ll worry constantly that they’re too boring, and nobody would like them. They aren’t particularly interesting, but they don’t want to push people away. Roleplay example: Sidney lay on the couch, curled up. They breathed in, and out. They closed their eyes. They were at one with the world. Their mind wandered off, exploring. They followed curiously, wondering where it would take them. A majestic red butterfly flew in from the window. He was instantly snapped out of her thoughts. They stared in wonder at the brilliant creature, relishing in its beauty from the comfort of the sofa. They curled up, leaning into their fan, and closed their eyes. The warm sun heated their pelt, and they slowly drifted off again, lost in a world of their own. Sexuality: I think that Sidney has little to know interest in sexuality. They don’t have a sexuality, they just don’t really care. They will never have a romantic or sexual relationship in their life, but they never clearly label themselves. What I plan to do with them: Well, I don’t like to plan out character’s life stories, but I do know that Sidney will never join a clan. They h violence, and don’t believe in the same morals, and religion. They’re happy being a kittypet, and wouldn’t want it any other way. Any disabilities/disorders?: Sidney has dyspraxia. Dyspraxia, also known as developmental co-ordination disorder (DCD), is a common disorder that affects movement and co-ordination. Dyspraxia does not affect your intelligence. It can affect your co-ordination skills – such as tasks requiring balance, playing sports or learning to drive a car. Problems with movement and co-ordination are the main symptoms of DCD. Children may have difficulty with: playground activities such as hopping, jumping, running, and catching or kicking a ball. They often avoid joining in because of their lack of co-ordination and may find physical education difficult. Some other symptoms include: a clumsy gait and movement. Difficulty changing direction, stopping and starting actions. Exaggerated 'accessory movements' such as flapping arms when running. Tendency to fall, trip, bump into things and people. How I’ll roleplay this: Sidney will have trouble with coordination, and will struggle with balancing, running and also she’ll fall over a lot. As well as this, they will have difficulties with changing the direction that she’s going. This will mean that she tries to limit their activities that involve these things. Codeword: One of Sidney’s favourite things is mythical, or interesting cultures, or natural phenomenons. They adore kit tales, with fantasy creatures, and quests. They also would be fascinated by events such as solar eclipses, or other cool nature things. On a slightly unrelated topic, they also really enjoy having friends. They would make friends that are kittypets, clan cats, any cat really. They do enjoy company, though they may seem introverted, and a cat who keeps to themself. Any accessory changes/changes to the design?: Maybe the collar? I’ll add a picture to the project. I really do love the design though.
