This is important if you want to go far! ★ Some instructions will appear in-game as you need them. Any additional info you might need can be found below. ----------------------- MENU TOOLS ------------------------ When you're in a horse's stall, move your mouse towards the Menu Wheel to display different choices to care for and interact with your horse. ★ CARE: Click Care to feed, water and groom your horse. Click any of the feed options to feed your equine friend or drag the brush to it to groom it. ★ TACK: Brings up your tack—the saddle, saddle pad and bridle. Click the buttons to put them on your horse—you need all three to go for a ride. ★ HELP: It will direct you here. ★ QUICK STORE: It's much more expensive than Susan's, so you should only go here in case of emergencies. ★ RANDOM HORSE NAME: There is a list of more than 500 horse names waiting in case you can't think of one for your equine friend! ★ RENAME: In case you name a horse and then change your mind. ★ RIDE: When you've tacked up your horse, you can click this button to take it for a ride! Riding can get you to Susan's Supplies, the Cross-Country Arena, the Horse Store, the Park and the Tack Shop. ★ APPRAISE: If you want to find out how much you'll be able to sell a horse for, what your horse's coat color is called, the horse's gender, whether it's in-foal and how much time is left until baby, click this. -------------------- EARNING MONEY ---------------------- ★ COMPETITIONS: Enter competitions and win trophies to display in your stable. When you're in a cross-country arena, you must go as far as you can. The longer you can endure the hurdles, the better trophies you can earn! ★ SELLING HORSES: You can sell horses at the Horse Store. Be careful—you can't sell a horse for quite as much as the purchase price. If you buy and then immediately sell a horse, you'll lose money. HOWEVER, the higher the horse's Max Endurance, the more money it will sell for. You can raise its endurance by competing in Cross-Country. This is a good way to make a profit. ★ MANZANITA'S RANCH: Go to Anza's ranch below! ------------------------ BREEDING ------------------------- REQUIREMENTS: ★ To breed, you must have a male horse and a female horse who are at least 4 years of age. You must also have an open stall. If you have three horses already, there will be no room for the foal. (You can sell a horse at the horse store.) Your stable must be Level 5. ★ When you have met all of these requirements, go into one of the stalls and click the heart-shaped Breed button, which will appear when your horses can breed. Type "yes." Then 4 minutes 30 secs later (11 game months), they will have a foal. (The foal will just appear in the third stall.) You could get a Skilled Breeder Stable Boon at Susan's to shorten the in-foal time. BENEFITS: ★ You could get higher-quality horses from breeding, and you can sell all horses you don't need to earn a lot of money. ----------------------- LEVELING UP ------------------------ REQUIREMENTS: To get EXP to level up your Stable... ★ help Manzanita Joy with her ranch (go to this project: ) ★ donate horses to the Horse Store ★ buy and sell horses and supplies ★ jump over hurdles and acquire trophies in the cross-country arena ★ raise foals ★ pet horses ★ make friends at the park …and other general play.
