hii !! ^^ happy pride month everyone :D <33 yes I know that there are only 5 days left of June but those 5 days are still part of pride month. I made an oc :) if you want to know more about them read the things below. I drew the oc design + two pieces of art of him. the first one [the yellow bg] is on paper, the other one is digital art. click to zoom, space to move between the pictures - - - - description of the character: ▸ name - rowan heath ▸ age - 15 ▸ pronouns - they/them or xe/xem ▸ gender - nonbinary [meaning they identify as neither male nor female] ▸ sexuality - neptunic [meaning xe is sexually attracted to nonbinary and female genders] ▸personality - xe is shy and keeps to their inner circle of friends, but around friends they have a fun and goofy personality. they love roller skating. xe is very creative and loves writing stories - - - - physical appearance details: ▸ skin tone - brown ▸ hair - short, turquoise-blue-purple [like the colors of neptunic flag] ▸ eyes - hazel ▸ clothing - purple oversized sweatshirt with yellow strings + yellow shorts [these two are like the colors of a nonbinary flag] + rainbow socks [one long, the other rolled down] ▸ other: turquoise-blue roller skates ▪ ──────── art/oc design reflection ──────── ▪ ▸oc design: I'm pretty happy with how this came out :D I love how the final design looks simple but cute <3 I didn't include shading in the design though- but that's fine. it looks ok ▸art #1 [traditional/paper]: okay. hm. I'm not quite sure how to feel about this? I did it on paper and all the shading in rowan looked good- but then I made the background yellow. I wanted it to be a light pastel yellow but it came out way darker. so then I edited the picture so it looked even darker cuz I was like- why not it might look cool. I think that did help a bit. and I made the image a bit grainy for some reason. and then I uploaded that to kleki to add the white outlines around rowan and the exclamations marks and stars, etc. in the end...I don't really like it ;-; but whatever. 4.5/10 for this lol ▸art #2 [digital]: omg I spent so freaking long on this. the pose was very hard to draw and I couldn't really find any ref pics to help me with it. the shading in rowan was easy. the background was easy once I started it, but I struggled to start it :') the foreground [rowan] and the background don't really fit in together properly- but whatever. they still look decent. there are some wonky parts but I still like it. 7.5/10 for this one - - - - anyways, happy pride month once again, and byeee! - - - - ⚠ no stealing my art / reposting on other sites. no remixing without permission and a valid reason ⚠ - - - - if you like this, you should check out my art gallery - - - - tags: - - - - art - (me) zoom in code - made on - kleki + paper music - a call to the soul by markotopa from pixabay
