About Umbra: TW!! Mentions of offing, Cults, and Manipulation, cheating. . . . . . . Umbra grew up with one parent, her mother having gone out into the world as a singer to earn the family revenue leaving the fox-dragon hybrid with her father Nightterror. Life was great for 12 yo Umbra until her mother brought home two more kids. Umbra's stepbrother and stepsister got along well, even if they didn't have the same father. Nightterror was furious at Midnight and several arguments ensued after the kids were brought home and Nightterror began to drink more and more until one night he sent Umbra out to get some firewood. The child followed her father's orders of course and came back to see her family slaughtered. Nightterror was the catalyst for all of this and stood alive in the middle of this all, a heart locket in hand that Midnight used to wear on her neck. Umbra was terrified and tried to run but her father easily caught her, clawing her face by accident and causing permanent scarring. The dragon demanded the young hybrid to go out to the city and head to a certain address with the locket in sight somewhere on her body, his bribe to get her to do this was he would save their family and they would all be happy again. Umbra, of course being a dumb 12 yo that was traumatized believed him and went out. She spent months trying to find the address and finally on her birthday scrambled upon an ally with a door stating the address Nightterror told her. She went inside and found herself faced with several robed creatures praying by a scroll. The scroll depicted a creature that looks oddly like Umbra with an ornate heart locket. Umbra starts talking to the person closest to her and they all figure things out together with the rest of the robed people. Turns out her father was the leader of a cult and kept this info from his family for years and just a few months back he had stepped down as their leader and declared an heir, Umbra. As soon as the cult found out who she was they started to treat her like a goddess. Time skip... Umbra is 20 now and has a whopping 1,546 members in her cult. She's grown up in a cold and manipulative environment and turned into a heartless, demanding, ruler that can k1// without batting an eye. Throughout all these years she began to get into terrible stuff to get past her trauma and soon lost herself to these substances until she didn't know reality from fantasies. Soon a cop stumbles upon her organization when Umbra went to a nightclub for a night out with some of her closest members. Umbra was pretty sane atm and noticed him stooping around. Umbra ends up trying to twist his mind and they have this whole mind game fight and Umbra fell for him. Tundra tried to convince her to end the cult in the end and had could help her out. Get her some therapy, rehab., etc... But she gets angry and storms out. Ends up finding her father while she was out and he tries to use her to get back into the cult. Umbra refuses of course and tries to walk away but Nightterror follows. They reach a bridge crossing over a highway and Umbra turns around intending to throw Nightterror over but ends up having some PTSD flashbacks to the slaughtering. She's not in the right mindset and can't focus her sight and ends up tripping over the rail into the highway. Tundra is watching from a distance, following her after she stormed out on him to try and get her to listen to him. He sees her fall and assumes Nightterror pushed her, got all heartbroken, and tries to avenge her by arresting Nightterror and promising a death sentence for all the father had done. In the end, the cult disappeared never having another heir to follow, Nightterror was sentenced to a life sentence in San Quentin Prison, and Tundra dedicated his time to finding the cult members of Umbra's cult and arresting them.
