There were glittering eyes staring up at them as they shivered on the small sanctuary that displaced them from the creature. They huddled close afraid of the slight probing the creature would do, jolting it slightly up and down. When it realized it had some prey it carefully tried to take on of the five on that sanctuary but under the watchful eyes of companions they managed to avoid it's reach for the most part. Soon it became eager and the stealthy attacks where discarded in favor of swift lunges which nearly managed to take down Saphira but they were quick and were instead showered in the beast's saliva, from then on they took away any semblance of personal space they held on before and piled slightly over each other to put a bit more extra distance between the creature. Since the creatures arms were not very long it's attacks were often useless and it growled in annoyance spitting at its prey. It gathered up it's strength and launched up to the sanctuary it's arms grasping out as it tried to tip over the barrier the prey put between it and swallow the five to satisfy it's hunger. The mass of the creature was revealed as it rose beside the sanctuary, it's many white eyes over it's body staring out, into it's now seeable prey. It tilted it's gigantean mass and fell atop the group as they fell from the absence of the creature that held them. They huddled close in an embrace as it swallowed them whole it's spittle flying out eagerly and the creature rested silently not concerned about the angry churning movements of it's kin, upset that they did not get to eat as well, it simply chuckled at them and went to sleep below their tantrum. Soon the rest settled begrudgingly and fell asleep at the rising sun their skin becoming a rich orange then a quiet blue as the big and small cells inside the creature went to work dissolving the creature's feast.
