click the cat, then just press the button you want to use. the cat says something when you press the button you have mapped. It works for most keys, including keys not normally in the dropdown and keys that require shift to press. you have to type "up arrow", etc. for arrow keys
The most popular button mapping code is ridiculously complicated and this is a much simpler method.
