Things That Influence Consumer Choices ............................................................................................ Advertising - Advertising is describing and drawing attention to a specific thing and describing it in a negative way or positive way depending on what its trying to convince. Some advertising includes making catchy songs, catchy quotes and acting. Advertising are mainly heard or viewed on TV, radio and other electronic devices. Peer Influence - Peer influence is when you do something that you wouldn't often choose to do because you want to feel similar to your friends or want to feel valued and accepted. Peer pressure is also similar to peer influence, for example if all your friends where going to wear pink shirts, peer pressure would make you do the same so you wouldn't feel left out or get judged. Consumer Choices - Some things consumers buy are because of their own preferences like someone who liked the color black would buy black related stuff. Personal choices are based on the person, their choices can be influenced by their age, gender and interests. However, consumer choices can be influenced by everything above or by past experiences. For example if someone hated bananas they would choose not to buy it.
