- Welcome to War Robots! I have worked for a very long time to make this game as detailed and realistic as the actual game, without some features that make it less enjoyable. - There are 32 robots available currently. To access the battle arena, press SPACE and enter the robot ID of your choice. To see what robots correlate with what, go to the code and find the list named "all robots." Then choose weapons and test it out! (make sure to not capitalize weapon names because they will not spawn.) - Make sure to read all of the instructions so you understand how to play the game. - Controls - WASD - Basic movement ↑ ↓ arrows - Increase / decrease zoom (higher zoom allows for more firing range and line of sight, but decreases the overall lockon range for the crosshair, making aiming more difficult.) Mouse pointer - Aim (Robot follows the crosshair, which takes a small amount of time to go to your mouse position.) Q / Mouse click - Fire (all equipped weapons fire at the selected target) - Everything below for controls is not implemented yet - Space - Ability (Robot's built-in ability is activated, then enters a cooldown phase) E - Secondary ability (Exclusive to titans, acts as a another, weaker ability, often granting positive effects to you or negative to your target) F - Orbital strike (If your Mothership plays a support role, a healing beam often granting a temporary energy shield will be fired at your robot's current position. If your mothership plays an attack role, a damaging laser carrying negative effects will be fired at a target's current position) Z - Change lockon mode (Lockon mode is by default set to automatic. This means that putting your crosshair near an enemy will lock onto that enemy until the mouse is a certain distance away. Manual lockon requires you to press the "L" key to lock onto the enemy, allowing you to choose when to have a lock) - Gameplay - Engage in 3v3 battles with your hangar of robots! Play in several different gamemodes, including Beacon Rush, Team Deathmatch, and Free For All! Gain resources by participating in battles, earned resources are multiplied depending on your place in battle and whether you win or lose. Resources can be used to purchase robots and equipment. - Equipment and events: Participate in battles and complete limited-time missions to gain event tokens! These tokens can be used to purchase an event crate. Event crates containing better equipment are costlier, while older/weaker equipment will be in the cheaper crates. Equipment not in an event crate can be purchased in the market for gold or silver, or platinum if you are purchasing titan-related equipment. - Equipment power: Most robots and weapons have stats that mirror that of the actual game, but some have been adjusted by me because the stats are simply too powerful to be fair to all players. I want to create a positive environment where all players can enjoy this game and have fun, and game-breaking equipment does not allow for this positive environment to exist. Nerfs to existing equipment will almost never happen, as their stats will be adjusted to be fair from release in order to reflect the mechanics presented by the equipment in a way that will stay throughout its presence in the game. Weapons like Glaive, Lance, Spear, Stake, Spike, and Needle have also been given ammunition values, because I feel that all weapons should have ammo if they're gonna deal that much damage. - Saving data: The game will automatically provide you with a save code upon closing the project, though the code can also be grabbed from the settings menu. (settings > save data) (The list will hide after 10 seconds, though the data can still be obtained by going into the code and copying the info contained within the "data" variable.
- Numerous features are either unimplemented or unfinished simply because I wanted you guys to see what I've been working on. - For an enhanced experience, go to Turbowarp and turn on "infinite clones" as a custom setting. - The maps are blurry because the pen always goes to the very back layer aside from the backdrop, so it has to be stamped or it doesn't show up. - May lag on some devices if not on Turbowarp.
