I decided to give more of a legend to this character rather than a backstory. It just felt like a legend would just fit them better. (I also couldn't really think of a good backstory.) I also don't really have a name stated in the legend but their name is Kanik. Kanik is of greenlandic origin and means bl00d. I know, I'm very creative. /s Another quick note before you read: Everything in this "legend" that I made up is fake! The actual way blood rain occurs is when high amounts of red dust mix in with the rain, it's very rare. Also TW they are some darker themes in this legend so please be safe while reading. :) After the screams of a battle ring up to the sky and clouds, the bodies finally go cold, and as the victors leave the battlefield, just like the ground now cold and red, the sky will mimic it and rain. The wind blowing it around the desolate land. The victors seeing their mistakes and regrets raining down on them and if they dare look back... their eyes will be met. A thing will stand in the middle, emotionless, staring at them. It saw all. It sees all. It is the clouds and the sky. The sky and clouds that witnessed the thousands of deaths and screams. The regrets thrown around just like the weapons used. If the victors fail to force their eyes away and run from the battle, the bl00d, and the pain, they too will fall. Their weapons at their side, their eyes still open, and their body going cold. They too joining the thousands of de@d scattered across the land. Although the ones who run, the ones who escape, they always will scar, they always will fear, and they'll never escape. While everyone else sees the rain as water, in their eyes it will always turn to bl00d. (Now in this, I did heavily imply that it happens after battles but in this "legend" it can happen after any large massacre.) Anyways, I really enjoyed doing this it was very fun to make. :D Especially writing the legend it was really fun and I maybe got a little carried away. I hope you like the drawing and the legend as well!
