Pre existing: ⋅ Humans - do I really need to explain this?? ⋅ Humanoids - This covers a range of things, including but not limited to: Humans with animalistic features, such as animal ears, tails, or wings; Humans with some sort of magical element; and (some) hybrids. ⋅ Elves - small, humanoid beings. they can have the skin colours of humans, but they can also be shades of light green/sage green. they also have pointy ears that are larger than those of humans. (suggested by @shadmanz) ⋅ Goblins - very similar to elves, but with ears that protrude out more, and they usually have duller/darker skin colours. they also like mischief. (suggested by @shadmanz) ⋅ Werewolves - Werewolves are usually humans that on a full moon, turn into half human Half wolf hybrids. And while that is partially the case, they're a little different. Instead of being fully human, they usually have dog ears, a dog tail, dog-like eyes and teeth as a human, and on a full moon, they turn into whatever dog breed they're based off of. ⋅ Vampires - Vampires don't share many similarities with their original depictions. Firstly, they can go out in the sun for short periods of time (between 10-15 minutes), but no longer, and even in that time period they get extremely sunburnt. Secondly, Vampires don't need to survive on blood alone, as most modern Vampires have a meat-rich diet, and their diet also probably contains coconut water! And thirdly, Vampires usually look like normal people, with a few shared similarities like sharp teeth, slit-shaped pupils, and pointy ears. Spirts - Spirts are the unfortunate few who died and haven been able to pass on yet. Spirts look the same as they did while alive, and almost always have the wound that they died from visible (unless there was no wound). Spirts have many abilities, like going through walls, invisibility, and (sometimes) interdimensional travel. Angels - There are many different types of Angels, depending on what type of angel they are, and the religion they're from. Due to this, there is no true description of what they are, or what they look like. Demons - Much like Angels, their appearance and personality is based off of what type they are and what religion they're from. Mermaids - Mermaids are an aquatic species that has the top half of a human, and the bottom half of a sea creature. They are usually quite easy to spot, having brightly colored gills, scales, and fins on their arms, tail, and back or the torso. Mermaids are usually happy to help land dwellers, as long as they are nice back. Sirens - Sirens are an aquatic species similar to Mermaids, who usually attempt to lure sailors into the water to drown them. The most common way to tell the difference between a siren and a mermaid is the fact that Sirens have more dull colors. Mermaids and Sirens often get into fights about whether or not land dwellers should be trusted. Dragons: look similar to regular dragons, but can breathe out a variety of different elements (fire, water, ice, wind, etc.), and can also transform into human/half human versions (the human version looks fully human, while the half human version keeps the dragon's wings, horns, eyes, tail, legs and powers.)
Created: ⋅Mothings - A species of shape-shifting humanoid that can turn from a moth to a human. These species are native to the forests of Lumely, WV, but have been spotted in Ebony. ⋅Ports - A species of humanoids that can change from a bipedal to a quadruped when exposed to a certain type or portal. They're native to Wintergreen County, AZ, but have been spotted in Ebony. ⋅ Drips - A species of demon, characterized by the thick, dark ink that drips out of their eyes, or out of open wounds. It has also been shown that-if in a stressful enough situation-Drips can shapeshift. ⋅ Motyls - a species of shape-shifting humanoid. they're a subspecies of Mothings, being the same as them, but being butterflies instead of moths. (suggested by @shadmanz) ⋅ Avians - another species of shape-shifting humanoid, being another, slightly rarer, subspecies of Mothings. they can turn from a bird to a human, and can be very easily recognised as they have significantly larger wings then Mothings or Motyls. they can have other bird-like features sometimes. so far, they have only been spotted in Ebony. (suggested by @shadmanz) ⋅ Kats - A subspecies of cats. They act like normal cats, except these cats can speak and will sometimes have an extra power if disabled. ⋅ Bad Ideas - Bad ideas are creatures that not only plague the minds of its victims, but also our own reality, although, there are some rogues.. they are thought to be created by a man, only known as the Author, the one who holds the pen,a criminal known for his horrible and malevolent deeds, that seemed selfish and envious, as before he was executed, wrote bad ideas to life. Bad Ideas come in all shape and sizes, but older ones are bigger, they are distinguishable by how they all look like a silhouette, when in the physical plane, they are made out of a black, viscous, ink, that resembles tar, usually, they take the form of something that scares their victim, they theorized to be intruders from a different world not ours, a different dimension, they have no true forms, as our eyes can not see it, so while in the physical plane, they can become invisible to humans, and other races not capable of doing magic without special items. (suggested by @OblivionZero0) ⋅ Spids - Half human, Half spider entities most commonly found at night. It is highly suggested that Mothings, Motyls, and small Avians don't go near them, as they've been known to have cannibalistic tendencies. ⋅ Jellies - A race of humanoid creatures, who can go on land or in the water. The most defining features of this species are their flowly, jellyfish-like tentacles, which usually sprout off their heads. They usually have some sort of clothing item that resembles the bell of a jellyfish, and are sometimes eyeless. What makes them so special though is the fact that they can appear in any universe that has fair folk in it. They have decided to stay neutral in the arguments between the Mermaids and the Sirens. ⋅ Good Ideas - Good Ideas seem to be the opposite of Bad Ideas, having a positive effect at first, and giving the victim, well, a good idea, but if they do not put the idea into action, it slowly becomes a bad thing, becoming the only thing the victim can think about, or talk about, or feel about, until the victim can't handle it anymore. Good Ideas seem to have come from a world different to ours, their appearance and some traits are extremely similar to Bad Ideas, but in the physical plane, they are made out of a white, goopy substance instead. while the Author was alive, he claimed no responsibility of these creatures, as not even he could comprehend where these creatures come from. (Suggested by @shadmanz) ⋅ Florals: a species of humanoid/demon, usually covered with flowers or other plants (hence the name). Florals usually have one or two small sets of horns, and an extremely thin tail that ends in a spade, heart, or flower shape. The most common hotspots for floral growths are the face, arms, and torso, but can also continue onto the horns and tail. Their blood is always bright/neon pink. Seers: (TW: DISTURBING TOPICS) A humanoid species, and one of the only species that cannot be created biologically. A seer is a human with eyes on their palms instead of on their face. They are very similar to psychics, as they can see the past, the future, and they seem to be all knowing. The only way that one can become a seer is by being fully human, and having your eyes s3wn shut.
