From there, 40 dots are drawn from the player's POV and when collided with the wall, sends back data for it to be rendered. The closer the dot is, the brighter and longer the line is. The parts which are further away are rendered first, followed by the parts in front, after doing a quick sort. This ensures that the objects in front appear in front, and the ones at the back appear behind. Overall, this achieves an awesome effect and I genuinely hope y'all will be inspired to do something more. why/how this can apply to real game dev Real 3d games do actually use the same technology, in the form of raytracing. It works like a simple light ray. Assume a light ray is projected from the camera. It travels and hits a solid object and reflects off of it with an angle based on the material and reflectivity of the surface of the object. This is done for every pixel you have on your 2D screen. Since a 3D model is made up of tiny triangles, a ray hitting the face of a triangle can be solved by solving the intersection of a line and a plane. That's why it is called ray tracing - it tracks light rays. It's really really cool how a 3D plane is manipulated by a 2D one. so ya scratch is unreal engine 5 other than that there is nothing much to talk about go home To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer’s head. There’s also Rick’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they’re not just funny—they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick’s existential catchphrase “Wubba Lubba Dub Dub,” which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev’s Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon’s genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. If you ask Rick Astley for a copy of the movie “UP”, he cannot give you it as he can never give you up. But, by doing that, he is letting you down, and thus, is creating something known as the Astley Paradox. I made a severe and continuous lapse in my judgement, and I don’t expect to be forgiven. I’m simply here to apologise What we came across in the woods that day was obviously unplanned. The reactions you saw on tape were raw; they were unfiltered. None of us knew how to react or how to feel. I should have never posted the video. I should have put the cameras down and stopped recording what we were going through There's a lot of things I should have done differently but I didn't. And for that, from the bottom of my heart, I am sorry. I want to apologise to the internet. I want to apologise to anyone who has seen the video. I want to apologise to anyone who has been affected or touched by... But most importantly I want to apologise to the victim and his family For my fans who are defending my actions, please don't. I don’t deserve to be defended. My goal with my content is always to entertain; to push the boundaries, to be all-inclusive. In the world live in, I share almost everything I do. The intent is never to be heartless, cruel, or malicious. Like I said I made a huge mistake. I don’t expect to be forgiven, I’m just here to apologise. I'm ashamed of myself. I’m disappointed in myself. And I promise to be better. I will be better. Thank you
