~~FLASH WARNING!!!~~ Hello, Rose_naj here! I realized that the original storyboard and plot for part 18 wasn’t sad enough (cause it ended happily), so now that the Perrshire (Cheshire x Perry) lore is confirmed, I decided to make it about that instead cause WELP ITS A LOT SADDER (don’t worry it ends happily, we just don’t see the happy ending in this part). Below is a summary of what’s happening in the part and what it is talking about. Now, onto thy ~PLOT~ : Perry has just pulled the knife and broken wing tarot cards and was - of course - worried of what they meant. To calm himself down, he takes out the card that represents Cheshire - the Jester card (I’ll explain it in the instructions). After he was calmed down, he set the card down on the table with the other two and left. Cheshire comes to visit Perry a few hours later, but only finds the three cards on the table. He believes that they mean he is going to backstab Perry by pushing him off of the high platform he was helping set up for Haven’s big act, killing him. He is angry and upset, as well as scared and sad because there was no way to stop it from happening if it was prophesied by the tarot cards (well, if it was real, but it wasn’t). He knocks over all the tarot cards and sends them flying, and then runs out and hides behind the tent. He starts hyperventilating, and gets little flashes of Perry. He looks down at his hands, only seeing a future murderer. He collapses to the ground and begins to cry, already seeing the whole thing happening in his head. He continues to cry, but then spots a knife laying beside him. He looks at his reflection desperately, not knowing what to do. It then hits him - in order to stop this from happening, the only choice he has is to kill himself. He is very sad that he has to do this, but he feels that it is the only way and that by doing this, he can protect Perry. Yeah…ummm…well that took a dark turn. Don’t worry tho - Perry stops him the next day and they become a happy couple! :) Anyways, enjoy and I’ll try to get this map part done as soon as possible!
Okay to explain the whole ‘Cheshire Jester Card’ thing, there is this (canon) tradition where after each new cat is hired, that cat pulls a tarot card and writes their name on it. Whatever card they got now represents that cat, rather than whatever it meant before. Cheshire’s card is the Jester card. Everything, make sense now? Good. Now onto the credits!
