!Blood Warning! This is my first DTAE so if there is anything I need to fix just ask me. Backstory time: A species was dying, Almost completely gone, In a land where war was about to break the peace. The name of the land was Emerald. A world where there was a vast variety of mythical creatures. Most died out in a war many, many years ago. A few survived, Many are on the verge extinction, One of these species was the bird dragon... The bird dragons lived together in a forest after this, Isolated from all the other species. But when the war broke out the bird dragons had no idea a war was going on (The war is against human/humanish creatures against dragons and mythical creatures.) Because they had distanced themselves from the dragons and Humans afraid they might get hunted to extinction and gone forever, though that would be their demise... So when they are found in a forest close to human territory the humans thought they were fighting in the war and attacked. Many bird dragons died, only a few survived... The bird dragon in the DTAE was able to escape the forest but was later found by poachers.
