I noticed that kids in general overuse the Green Flag Hat Block which makes it hard for them to debug and creates errors. Additionally they are not shown how to build from a functional stance so that they create context for the scripts; this has lead to them wondering why some methods or events disappear when clicking on the background or a sprite Im working on this to provide a local CodeClub with some examples of debugging and programatic design.
