READ EVERYTHING OR ELSE... you won't know what to do. --- RIGHT SIDE CITY 2 [VANILLA SCRATCH DEMO] --- The long-awaited spectacular sequel to the contest-winning game (I got second place)! 6+ MONTHS IN THE MAKING! USE THE TURBOWARP LINK - SCROLL DOWN (it won't work otherwise because of the clone limit...) ~~~ --- EASTSIDE METRO (the main game) --- Travel with Olivia through the world of Eastside Metro as you embark on a journey to fix the server complex! [ Featuring ] - Perfectly polished graphics - A completely comfortable hub where you can talk to people - Several actual boss fights (not like the average @LSPECTRONIZTAR platformer, where there's only one boss fight that just makes you run around the screen) [ Controls ] - LEFT and RIGHT to move (obviously) - UP to jump - DOWN to drop through certain platforms - X to open the levels page (Eastside Metro) [ Custom levels (somewhat compatible with mobile) ] You can make your own levels and play others' levels! [ 2.5 Mode (only in Game Jolt) ] You can now play in 2.5 Mode! This would be enabled by default, but it is still an experimental feature and should only be enabled by people who want their experience based on quality instead of performance, as it slows down the game (even on TurboWarp, even on the fastest computers). [ Lagging? ] If the game lags, your computer is either old or running something else in the background. (It worked fine on my iPad, but not on my Windows 11 PC.) --- RHYTHM PRISM: RSC2 EDITION --- A remake of the LSPECTROniverse original featuring music from Eastside Metro! [ Controls ] - D, F, J, and K to hit the notes, respectively - Works on mobile, but you have to let go exactly after hitting a note, or it might not work… --- ONLY IN OMNISCIENCORP (the side game) --- Oh no! Me and my brother @RadicalJul have been captured by Omniscience! You must help Olivia join forces with the Commander of the RSC Agency to save us! [ Warning: Players have a 50% chance of rage-quitting ] You thought Eastside Metro was hard? You'll have to be an experienced platforming gamer to perfectly pass every level in this game (that's why it only has 5 levels). [ Controls ] - You can now crouch! If you hold DOWN for a certain amount of time and press UP (while still holding on to DOWN), you can jump even higher than you would with a double-jump (this trick only works on solid ground). You can also double-jump (after releasing DOWN) to go even higher! - You can now land on platforms that touch the very top of the level (AKA going out of bounds). Use this to your advantage! - WASD to move around the map - Space to skip the intro ~~~ [ For better performance ] https://turbowarp.org/866325170?interpolate&stuck&limitless&offscreen&clones=Infinity&size=640x360 (Yeah, I ditched the High Quality Pen, because it breaks the OmniscienCorp map for some reason...) [ Play the Game Jolt version - it has more features! ] Coming SOON™️ (I don't even know if it'll actually come, someone broke my old iPad and I lost all the assets...)
As of the day it was released, this is by far the best game I’ve ever made (sorry, All-Stars World Tour!). It’s also my first ever tile-scrolling project, and probably the best tile-scrolling platformer EVER made on Scratch (self-proclaimed), and I think I did a really good job. Also, a new Game Jolt version is coming soon so you better follow to play it when it comes! UPDATE: Cancelled. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1227037364/ Ads and F4F are welcome. I believe that every Scratcher has the right to know what it's like to be acknowledged by a popular Scratcher (I'm actually an underrated Scratcher, but yeah). ~~~ [ How I got the idea ] I was making my own levels in Super Mario Maker 2, trying to make my own Mario game basically. And then, all of a sudden, this popped up in my head, and I just had to do it. This game was inspired by Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion (just like the first, but with more meaning), because I literally had no other idea for a platformer. This game certainly can't compete with Super Mario Maker 2 (or maybe it can, I don’t really know), but it's better than other Scratch tile-scrollers (as far as I know), and I like it! [ Play my SMM2 levels! ] If you have a Nintendo Switch and have Super Mario Maker 2 (and an online membership *groan*), you can play my levels by using this code: JKM-SGX-GTF [ Important Note ] None of the levels in "Eastside Metro" or "ONLY in OmniscienCorp" are impossible to pass (normally or perfectly). Trust me, I have painstakingly verified every single level. ~~~ [ Art ] Logo by @LSPECTRONIZTAR Thumbnail by @LSPECTRONIZTAR Characters by @LSPECTRONIZTAR Tilesets by @LSPECTRONIZTAR Backgrounds by @LSPECTRONIZTAR Coins by @StratfordJames Explosions by @mtcrafter (modified) Forest background tree by @ToadfanSchool Studio tilesets and backgrounds from GameArt2D Drones from SVG Repo Rhythm game leave icon from SVG Repo [ Code ] Title screen by @LSPECTRONIZTAR Text engine by @-Rex- (modified) Eastside Metro hub engine by @LSPECTRONIZTAR RightSide-Online engine by @LSPECTRONIZATR Tile scrolling engine by @griffpatch (modified) Transition by @LSPECTRONIZTAR Win screen by @LSPECTRONIZTAR Rectangular transmission wave code by @PullJosh (modified) Rhythm game effects by @LSPECTRONIZTAR Rhythm game engine by @LSPECTRONIZTAR Rhythm game 3D Tunnel by @likikis OmniscienCorp map engine by @griffpatch [ Music ] - All music made by @LSPECTRONIZTAR using GarageBand - Airship theme and OmniscienCorp credits made using Soundtrap [ SFX ] - Coin sound effects by @LSPECTRONIZTAR - Boss sound effects: https://freesound.org/people/jvmyka@/ https://freesound.org/people/adh.dreaming/ - UI sound effects: https://shapeforms.itch.io/shapeforms-audio-free-sfx - Shield sound effects from @RokCoder and Scratch Sound Library - Cannon sound effects: https://freesound.org/people/Isaac200000/ - Flamethrower sound effects: https://freesound.org/people/Breviceps/ and https://freesound.org/people/MATRIXXX_/sounds/459344/ - Spammer sound effects from Splatoon 2 - Chain switch path reveal sound effects from Mixkit - Rhythm game miss sound effects from Big Tower Tiny Square - OmniscienCorp sound effects: https://freesound.org/people/The_Chemical_Workshop/ https://freesound.org/people/StarTowerStudio/ https://freesound.org/people/MATRIXXX_/ Scratch Sound Library - Robot destroyed sound effects from Mario games [ Voice acting ] Eastside Metro voice acting: https://dillonbecker.itch.io/sdap - Olivia: Meghan Christian - Taekwondork: Sean Lenhart Eastside Metro telephone voice acting: readloud.net - Andrew Eastside: Joey - Omniscience: Eric - OP-penheiemer: Joey - Adrien: Justin (child) - Automated voice service: Sally OmniscienCorp voice acting: readloud.net and voicemaker.in - Adrien: Justin (child) (readloud.net) - Omniscience: Eric (readloud.net) - William: Benjamin (voicemaker.in) - Olivia: Jessa (voicemaker.in) Tags (does this even work?): #All #Platformer #Platforms #Platform #Platformers #Generic #Games #Animations
