Ive 'I am' reaches 100 million streams in (I counted) 67 days! i dont think it's any kind of record but still amazing! If you didn't know: Ive is a South Korean girl group formed by Starship Entertainment. The group is composed of six members: Gaeul, Yujin, Rei, Wonyoung, Liz and Leeseo. They made their debut on December 1, 2021, with the single album Eleven. It was followed shortly with the single album Love Dive, whose lead single became Ive's first number-one song on the Circle Digital Chart. It was the best-performing single of the year and was awarded Song of the Year at the Asia Artist Awards, Golden Disc Awards, MAMA Awards, and Melon Music Awards. Ive achieved their second number-one song with the lead single of their third single album After Like. In 2023, the group released their debut studio album I've Ive to commercial success. It was accompanied by two singles, "Kitsch" and "I Am", both of which also topped the Circle Digital Chart.
My bias is Rei, bias wrecker Leeseo (though it is very unlikely for any other member to "wreck" Rei and become my bias in my lifetime). if anyone knows a kpop girl group that reached 100 million streams with one track in less than 67 days, let me know in the comments.
