Name of kit: Owlkit Why did I choose Owlkit?: Well, I just really liked the design! Calico cats are gorgeous, and I think that Owlkit looks amazing! I’d love to roleplay a cat like her! Also, I love the name! It’s really nice! Pronouns: Owlkit will use she/her pronouns for a but, but then she’ll begin to feel uneasy, and like this doesn’t fit. So they switch to sae/saer. After a while, this doesn’t feel right either, so they go to they/them and xe/xyr. After a while, he realises that he’s genderfluid, and they feel comfortable switching pronouns around to see what fits at that time. Fae feel comfortable with this identity. They describe der feeling of gender as like a river. It flows where it wants, and can easily change course. As Owlkit loves the water, this feels even more correct. Also, Owlkit likes to experiment with creating their own pronouns out of words that describe their identity. Their favourite of these made-up pronouns is Sea. An example of this in a sentence is: Owlkit lay next to the river, casually picking up the heat from the grey stones. Sea smiled, and rolled over, so their back got equal heat as well. Sexuality: Owlkit knew from the moment she discovered her gender, that her orientation was similar. It was fluid, and ever-changing, like a river. For a while she identified as Abrosexual, and it felt good. The fluidity matched up, and sae felt carefree. Then they discovered a patteern between their gender and orientation. They changed at the same time. Fae realised that xe was Novosexual/romantic, and this made them happy. Whenever their gender changed, the sexuality changed with it. Not necessarily the same gender matched up with a specific sexuality, but it was entirely what he felt. Mostly they do identify as Abrosexual though, but both labels are fine. They also find it easy to relate to most people when it comes to sexual/romantic attraction, as Sea’s experienced most xemself. Any disabilities/disorders?: No, Owlkit is neurotypical, and has no disabilities. This slightly upset her, as Sea felt that everyone else was neurodivergent, and fae loved the idea of having a different perspective on life. De has no mental illnesses, or anything. Sae just didn’t understand yet, that it didn’t matter. As a young kit, he was kind of the opposite of ableist. But eventually, they learnt that you didn’t need a disability to be special, and disorders can be hard, and cause a lot of pain (mental mostly). And if everyone’s brain is wired differently, then de IS the different one. Xe felt much better after this, and began to accept the truth. Design changes: Nope! I love the design! Would it be ok though if they had a necklace, with small blue beads? The positioning of the beads would show which pronouns you could use for Sea. However, if you Stil were uncertain, just use Sea/Sea-self. Also, can they have a blue butterfly wing behind one ear? Personality: Owlkit is a friendly, cheerful, and funny cat. De love to joke around, and have fun. They are very flexible, and love to swim. Sae is very playful, and love their family to bits. Sea can be a bit bossy, and motherly at times though. Xe is creative, confident and can be very dramatic. They struggle with lying, and her honesty is admirable. Also, they can be very impatient, and generally don’t want to grow up. He isn’t the bravest, and certainly doesn’t shine at training, but saer heart is in the right place, and fae would willing d1e for family or friends. Illness also scares her, and xyr paws are always clean. She is very responsible, and you can always trust Sea to do things. However, xe really hates the idea of growing up. Fae worries that he won’t he able to have fun, and chat, and just play with friends. De has slight Gerascophobia. Although it might seem that Olive is pretty unflawed, this is because a a kit, she’s bubbly, and happy. It’s only when Sea gets into saer apprentice and warrior days that their more negative traits start to shine though. Owlkit is very distrustful, making it hard for her to truly accept others. Xe also judges cats quickly, and finds it difficult to change her perspective on these cats. What will I do with Sea?: Well, I will guide her through faer life, help xyr make good choices, and lead her to happiness, hopefully. I’m not going to let them d1e any time soon, and I’m pretty active. So, yeah! Trivia time! Nicknames: Owl, Owchie (as a kit, but the name stuck. Only by close family + friends), Olive, O. Scent: Fresh river water, with a touch of damp grass. Favourite prey: Fish, what else? That’s it I think!
