so, Mojang (or Microsoft, IDK) was getting kinda mad at servers having guns because 'minecraft is a kid's game'. If I remember correctly, they are getting mad at gun mods too for the same reason. And a lot of the community was mad at them, for a good reason. To start off, Minecraft is already violent, dying from an axe, sword or bow is so much worse than dying from a gun. I could mention how Minecraft lets you do things such as burning animals to death, enslaving villagers and killing children. I could also mention how Minecraft's mascot is literally a (self-homicide) bomber. Secondly, Minecraft isn't 100% for kids, I bet that most of it's audience now are older kids, teens and young adults, and by then, they should be used to guns. Also, minecraft isn't exactly for little kids. Thirdly, servers have g*mbling in them with loot boxes, and guns are the problem? bruh. Another thing to mention is that while guns shouldn't be in the MAIN parts of VANILLA minecraft, there isn't a problem with them being in modded minecraft or servers. Mods and servers aren't exactly for kids, and I doubt any young kids would even know how to use curseforge or fabric anyways. Also, this can remove a large chunk of the minecraft community. Modders are a pretty large chunk of the minecraft community, and IDK 'bout you, but gun mods are actually kinds cool, sure, they don't fit minecraft, but they are cool, and I get that gun mods aren't needed for the game to be fun, they still make the game a bit more fun. Another thing is that this can lead to Mojang/Microsoft ruining minecraft even more, what if they remove all the challenge and interesting parts to make it 100% kid friendly? that would be bland and would definitely suck. and isn't Minecraft meant to be a game where the players can do whatever they want? IDK how to end this
