I recommend pressing the Num Lock key and using the keypad. 3=base 2=snare 1=closed hi-hat (hold 0 with this to play open hi-hat). 4,5 and 6=the tom-toms 7=crash (hold 0 and you will get the crash without the base as well.) 9=ride press the up arrow to play a little tune.
