1. Oh Me? I’m Completely Normal “VICTORIA!” Yep, that’s me. Hi, my name is Victoria Greenway, or Vic for short. I have long brown-black hair, dark brown eyes, pale peach skin, and braces. I’m the girl who always falls asleep in class, even though I’m actually super smart, at least that’s what my friends tell me anyway. Someone cleared their throat, and I realized it was my twelfth -grade social studies teacher, Mrs. Kulla. She’s actually pretty nice, it’s just a really, really boring subject. “If you wish to sleep, Miss Greenway, then you would do well to do so before you enter my classroom, not during the middle of my lecture” She scolded. “Yes Mrs. Kulla.” I sighed in return. As class went on my mind starts to wander, but I was careful to stay awake. I started to think of one of my favorite video games, but suddenly it seemed as though someone had flashed a bright white light right into my eyes, and it felt as if it was blinding me. The bell rang shortly after, and as I headed to my next class, I started to wonder what the heck that light was, and stop watching where I was going, so, naturally, I bumped into someone. Two someones, actually Thankfully, it was just my two friends Katie and Lauren. They’ve been my friends since the third grade, and we are almost never seen apart. In school we are the smart quiet ones in the corner, but after 3:50, we let it all out and are our complete, and totally weird, selves for the world to see. Katie has light tan skin, long dark hair, and wears cute, slightly square rimmed glasses that brought out the color in her mischievous brown eyes. She also has a faint shine on her teeth from the retainers, since she got her braces off just last year. Lauren could not be more different in looks. She has wavy, long, dirty blonde hair, as well as light peach skin, and kind blue-green eyes. Just like Katie she also has a retainer but gets to get rid of it in two weeks. We chatted for a while about school among other things, when a boy named Asher came over to talk. He is also part of our group, but, as Katie and Lauren know, he is also my not-so-secret crush. He has tan skin, dark hair, dark eyes, a slightly crooked smile, braces, and black glasses. “Hey Victoria, hey guys” He greeted. A chorus of hi’s and hello’s followed, which ensued an awkward silence. Thankfully, Katie always knows how to start up a conversation, and we continued to talk a little bit more before the warning bell rang, and we had to practically sprint to our separate classes. Mine was biology class with Mr. C, and today we were dissecting frogs. I, personally, found it very intriguing and fun, but I could tell others were not amused. We were just finishing up cleaning the tools when that bright white light flashed in my eyes again, and the tool I was washing slipped out of my hand, cutting me. I hissed and winced, trying to find something to wrap my hand in to stop the blood. I grabbed a nearby towel, knowing it has been through worse than a little bit of blood. I went to Mr. C, who saw my hand and sent me to the nurse. She patched me up with a lot of bandages and sent me on my way. I immediately went back to class to grab my things and was greeted by my friends who had heard what happened. “Vic! Are you okay?” “Let me see it!” “How did you drop it?” “Did you get stitches?” “Are you bleeding?” “GUYS, CALM DOWN! I get that you’re worried, but it wasn’t even that large of a cut. I’m fine. Now, to answer a few of your questions, I am bleeding a little, but not too much. I did not get stitches, and I thought I got a bright white light flashed in my eyes, so I dropped it.” I didn’t want to be rude or anything, but I was getting very overwhelmed at their bombardment of questions. “Sorry Victoria, but we were just so worried since we didn’t know how big the cut was, or if you were like bleeding out or something like that” Asher apologized. “Yeah, I get it, you’re good” I answered, my cheeks flushed red knowing that he was worried about me. “Also, like, a bright white light? What was that all about?” Lauren asked. “Yeah, I’m not sure about that either. It keeps happening and I don’t really know what to do. But enough about me, have any of you seen Wyatt today? We always meet after Bio and he’s still not here.” I worriedly questioned. We always wait for each other outside of Mr. C’s classroom to walk to our lockers together, since it was the end of the day, and our lockers are right next to each other as well. One look at their faces told me all I needed to know.
Sooooo...... I'm writing a book! Just know that I haven't done this since like, kindergarten so this may or may not be as good as I think it is. I probably will not update this story consistently like, ever, but I'll try to go for every second and fourth weeks of the month on Saturdays. I hope you guys enjoyed! A/N - This book is kinda cancelled so I won't be writing anymore chapters unless I really feel like it, sorry. :(
