(7, 5, 2023) I used a color palette generator to get the color schemes, then spun a wheel to see what type of creature to draw. Press the right arrow key to change the character. Here are the five characters I made: SUNSHINE: (She/they) Sunshine is a weredog (like a werewolf but smaller) who lives in a desert village. She's pretty chill and relaxed most of the time, and when she transforms every night, she spends most of it napping or playing tricks on the local people. Her human form has purple-dyed hair, too. (Maybe I'll draw that later, maybe not.) I'm really pleased with how her design turned out. FEATHER: (She/her) Feather is a pleasant adult feather-dragon (yes, I'm so creative) who runs a shop. I was going to draw her with an apron, but it looked terrible. She has lots of dragonets and loves baking. I don't really like how this design turned out, it was tedious and I couldn't make the feathers work. OTTO: (He/him) Otto is a lil' axolotl who works aboard a boat, the "Fish 'n Ships." Most of his fellow sailors/pirates respect and/or fear him, for even though he is cute, he is mighty terrifying. He's one of the only members of the crew that can wear jewelry without having it get stolen over the night. I just wanted a pirate axolotl, okay? CAY: (He/they) Short for Carmin, Cay is a summer dragon who spends his days as an apprentice to an herbalist. When he's not goofing off and having fun in his sea-shore coastal town, splashing in the ocean and enjoying the heat, Cay is studying very very hard. He's goofy but sweet, and a good friend. (Also, him not having legs or wings is a design choice, I didn't just forget.) RANCH: (He/him) Ranch is a little kitten that wanders the wilds and forests alone. Because of a tragic accident when he was younger, Ranch lost one of his back legs, and learned that he can't trust anyone. He's surviving alone, but isn't that good at it. A few run-ins have left him with even more scars, and he's terrified that he'll be attacked again, or worse, forced to live in the town... I wanted I change from the cozy animals, so I made him.
All art by me. Using a mouse... :/ Though I am pleased I could squeeze some designs out of myself. I really like Otto, Ranch, Carmin and Sunshine's designs, but not so much Feather's.
