aes comm . . . . . . entry by @satxurn ●●● before we start, i want to give credits to @sincerely-wynn for giving me the idea to make this entry/rant. her one is called 'aesthetic isn't a personality' (it really isn't) check it out! - SOUND ADDED! <3 -- 20/6/23 dear diary, this is the most common rant i've seen, but here me out! here is the problem with the aes comm. i'm in the aes comm, and i love it! but it's getting more toxic EVERY SINGLE DAY. honestly, thats outrageous. there's also more and more drama bc of stealing. i liked the aes com b4 all of this happened. •stealing. stealing is the one of the biggest parts of the aes comm. u steal someones thumb w/o credit. please, cant u search up thumb tutos? there's so many but u decide to steal? its not like that scratcher had amazing thumbs from the start! we all start somewhere but ur idea was to steal. thats not ok. especially when u find a f2u b/w project and delete their credit? that's also not ok!! some aes scratchers leave bc of the stealing. i've also seen ppl crop watermarks from thumbs that arent theirs. stop stealing and make your own. •faking ur race/religion there's so many ppl that fake being asian as an aesthetic. like just because u like kpop doesn't mean ur asian! wth?? and i know that there are well known aesthetic scratchers that are muslim, (I'M ONE!) and ppl randomly put out in their b/w that they are? being muslim isn't an aesthetic, the religion is beautiful, same thing with being asian, being asian is amazing and all asian cultures are beautiful <3 • using all of someone else's code rather than using no code, ppl use all of someone else's code. i understand if you use a small part of someone else's code for a small part of your own project, but some aes users just use all of someone else's so their entire project is someone else's code with the thumbnail and project layout as their own. come on. ur supposed to learn how to code here. at this point ur project is 80% by someone else who u might've not even credited and 20% by you, just for ur designs. please just code yourself, you can take inspiration, watch tutorials, or even use small parts of someone else's code. just not everything. i'm sorry if this was long. but i'm glad i got my feelings out! - brynn out
