idea went along these lines: V = swap between melee and gun sets guns would be dynamic with automatic snap onto targets (each arm is its own sprite to allow for this) melees can feed into custom combos (works similar to DmC where pausing for certain times can feed into different styles of moves) Upgrades: For the people bad at videogames, you can upgrade your pistol twice. First, it becomes dual weild allowing higher fire-rate (nobody beleives in ammo consumption or reloading). Second is the Punch A Bunch upgrades wich will make bullets explode on contact.
