Instructions

Same thing as before, just much cleaner and less buggy. left right arrow to switch tracks space to cue the alt version of a track tracks that have alts: johns Yes that's the only one for now. Stereo tracks cannot have alts, unfortunately. Not without me creating two other sprites to handle the separate volumes. Tracks that have stereo sound: Right Off the Bat The Sky is Falling Using a second sprite for effects allows you to do some interesting stuff. Since it lets you play a different sound simultaneously, and use a separate volume and pan left/right variables you could have stereo sound (different pan left/right effect for each sprite), music that progressively adds on instruments as you go on, different versions of the same track that fade in and out seamlessly depending on where you are at, or even some of the more interesting stuff like making the percussion only play when the player is walking (A Pokemon BW thing that I didn't notice until someone else pointed it out). Some ideas for things you could do with this: The aforementioned only play percussion when moving idea Having an underwater and above water version of the track (This one's a classic) Progressively adding on instruments as you go through different parts of the level. (Also got this idea from Pokemon BW, play through the battle subway and you'll see what I mean. Also seen in Celeste too.) Stereo sound tracks on Scratch. With different sprites, you can accomplish each of these without having to stop the music and restart it by simply starting each part of the track at the same time (probably with a broadcast), then changing the volume for each of them separately. Get creative, I'm sure there are more cool things you can do. Now if only I could get rid of that pesky pause in between loops. It takes a frame to restart the music when it finishes, which is annoying. Edit: seems like @colinmacc used a repeat until block and that might work? It could just be hard to hear.
