actual study tips ⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚ ⠀⠀ by @jenaissantes⠀:¨ ·.· ¨: ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ `· . ꔫ :¨ ·.· ¨: `· . 1. make a study playlist this depends whether music distracts you or not, for example, im a huge daydreamer so music kinda like triggers that for me i guess, but it doesn’t really trigger me too much anymore depending on the music i listen to. listening to osts, or just softer music in general helps studying a lot and doesn’t disturb. instrumentals also help a ton to help you focus. :¨ ·.· ¨: `· . 2. take less notes this one doesn’t really sound like it makes sense i know, but when you’re taking notes don’t waste your time trying to copy down the entire sentence, instead, try and copy down less words or keywords in general that might help you focus better. :¨ ·.· ¨: `· . 3. study at libraries libraries have a more calmer setting and most libraries give you access to tons of books that can help you with your work, printers, and computers if needed. i like to go to the library with my friends to study together in groups even though most of the time we don’t end up getting anything done. :¨ ·.· ¨: `· . 4. study in a quieter setting if you’re planning on studying, don’t study where you know its gonna be loud, instead, study somewhere where you know its a lot quieter and somewhere that can help you relax. :¨ ·.· ¨: `· . 5. put your phone/devices on silent unless you’re like using it for a timer, get all other devices out of the way, trust me, having your phone on your side while studying will not help you get anything done. :¨ ·.· ¨: `· . 6. don’t use the pomodoro technique the pomodoro technique isn’t a smart one either way. the whole idea is that you work for 20 minutes, and then you get a 5 minute break. the problem with that is that the break is so short that whatever youre doing in that break will probably exceed the limit, causing you to take up even MORE time. its js a really unrealistic expectation in general n if ur like me you’ll probably anticipate for the break to end but it depends on the person thank you so much for reading through! i hope it helped ≥≤ thumb: made by me on canva (pixlr will not load.) music: dance the night away, twice next proj: about me
