OC Contest Entry ☽ The Eclipse — — — ⚠︎ FULL SCREEN RECCOMENDED! Hello, hello! This is my entry for The Eclipse's OC Contest. Here is my character, Kaito! Click to zoom in. Rip the image quality, Scratch ruined it, lol. Below is a tiny scene with him in it, so make sure to check that out. :D Kaito / 22 / M / Straight / Knight / Fair skin, black hair that is short in the back and long on top, dark brown almond shaped eyes, and a broken nose. 5"9' lean shoulders, toned frame. / Adventurous, capable, disciplined. / Can be stubborn if he thinks he is right, cares for people very quickly, overworks himself in his training / Patient, precise, honest. Enjoys mentoring his squire / Kaito swayed to the movement of his horse as he approached the east boundary wall that surrounded the tiny village, his hand tense around the hilt of his sword. His mare huffed, the cold affecting her lungs as she walked. He steered her around the bend, following the path in the dark. 'The sooner I can get to my post, the better,' he thought, picturing the warmth of the campfire on his chilled hands. The midnight clouds enveloped the moon and left him shrouded in darkness. Kaito willed his eyes to see in the dimness, but struggled. He cursed under his breath, knowing what lurked in the night. Knights told stories of those horrors, horrors he'd only gotten glimpses of from his post. Glinting silver eyes. And hysterical laughter. He shook his head, his black hair falling over his left eye. No matter the horrors, though, he was willing and proud to stand alongside the guards to protect those who couldn't protect themselves, like his younger brother. He stiffened at the thought of him. A second later, he blinked suddenly, as a small light, glinted off his armour. A fire just a little ways away. Finally through the trees, his spirits rose as he neared the campfire and nodded at the other guards, respectfully. He swung his leg over and landed, his feet planted on the ground besides his horse. Grabbing her reins, he guided her towards the other two guards. The first was a woman in her early fourties, high cheekbones, and cold stele blue eyes that only focused on the fire as she stoked it to a roaring flame. The second, Zev a recent friend of his since his post here, was a broad-shouldered man with rich brown skin and a head of thick black curls. "You're a little late," she said, standing. "Forgive me, the dark frightens my mare." Zev laughed and put his hand on Kaito's shoulder. "Late or not, good to have you here, brother." ⋆ ⬤ ☾ ◑ 〇 ◐ ☽ ⬤ ⋆
