Her mother passed from shock when Charlie had told her she could see and talk to ghosts/spirits when she was 10. Her father ran off during a battle and Charlie was left alone at 12. Her brother had taken care of her until she was 13 and a half but he ran away to be with his partner leaving Charlie more alone than ever. She made a dedication to use her strength and fighting skills to protect the children of Nygale as she hoped they would get better luck with family although it wasn't rare to be an orphan... SHORT RP PIECE Charlie sat in the middle of a circle of candles, obsidian and other crystals. She hummed a tune with her eyes closed and her head tilted slightly upward. She was asking the spirits to stay away from her training grounds the next day. Most spirits trusted and listened to Charlie, but some laughed at her and made life more difficult. Her trainer already thought she was mentally sick and she wanted to prove she was worthy. Charlie smiled as most of the spirits had been really understanding but there was one she recognised who hadn't said anything. She took a minute to remember where she had seen them. Oh... They had been a family-friend from when Charlie was younger... and had been there the day her mother had died from shock...
