∙ one close friend is better then lots of okay friends, its not the end of the world if you only have one friend you will make more along the way ∙ try not to get affected by the bullying, you wont see these people again when you graduate highschool ∙ have fun but dont forget about studying ∙ dont procrastinate and leave everything till the last minute you will regret ∙ dont be afraid to email your teachers about your work and dont be afraid to ask for feedback before sending your final work, it will improve your grades!! ∙ dont get mixed in with the wrong crowd it can affect you education or self-esteem ∙ read any english materials, books, comics, manga, biographies etc. especially if you lack vocab because reading will greatly help you expand your vocabulary, your sentence structure could improve and you will find writing essays, presentation scripts etc easier. ∙ save your math hw sheets your teacher gives you and use it for revision for tests (not just math do the same with other subjects) ∙ dont get too sad over your grades you can always try again ∙ certain subjects can get you a higher atar, ib results, or whatever you use in your country, typically harder subjects like chem, physics etc ∙ being brain fried is a thing dont over work yourself ∙ take breaks ∙ spend some of your school holidays studying the material ahead but dont over-study, spend time with your friends family or doing what you love as cliche as it sounds. ∙ if your still new to highschool and fail a subject etc you can ask yourself "will it matter in 5 years time" ∙ dont get too sad about your fake friends, you wont see them again after highschool and it wont matter then ∙ believe or not most of the times in highschool, people genuinely dont care. so get up and present infront of the class theres no need to be nervous, wear that shirt you thought people would judge you for everyone is already so focused in their own personal lives they dont have time to care. ∙ that 95 minimum atar to do a medicine degree after hs is honestly just lies. you can take short courses before applying for a degree and still go into medicine. goodluck to everyone.. stay consistent in your studies, don't give up, i believe in you!! i promise its so satisfying to see your personal growth and achievements over a course of time <33
