WARNING: THE FOLLOWING PROJECT IS OVER EXAGGERATED! MOST OPINIONS SHARED MAY OR MAY NOT BE ACCURATE TO MY ACTUAL THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS! First off, Filterbot is a total piece of junk. You say one thing remotely negative it mutes you. It’s not just the comments either, I’ve had to reword this thing like a bazillion times to avoid censorship. Second, the new studios are an absolute abomination. They are a disgrace to the website. I mean, seriously? 40 managers? 25 replies? Not being able to select Scratchers from the following list? The overall look? It’s trash Third, the memory limit for a project is 500 Megabytes. 500 MEGABYTES! Do you know how many projects I’ve had to delete features from or scrap entirely? On this account alone like four projects. I mean, sure most projects aren’t gonna take up the full 500 Megabytes, but still some of the more advanced projects struggle with that issue. Fourth, moderation on Scratch is complete dookie. People get their projects removed for having stuff for stuff that my Grandma wouldn’t even consider inappropriate. Now I get it, this site is meant for younger kids but I don’t know a single eight year old who has stumbled upon a project that’s even close to being inappropriate. Fifth, not to be a bully or anything, but some of the projects on here are actual dog water. They’re either horrible in their coding and overall sprite and backdrop choice or they’re extremely cringey. For example, anything with furries in it, those stupid platformers that are like “Fortnite” or “Minecraft”, Dream or other modern MCYT related stuff, those dumb MAPS and AMVs, projects that look like they were made by a toddler (Like if you’re gonna make crap like that go to Scratch Jr.) Sixth, the explore tab. I don’t know anybody who uses the explore tab. It’s full of that cringey stuff I just covered in the previous segment. Seventh, the ST’s rule on FNaF related stuff. I understand FNaF is kind of a scary game and the lore involves unaliving kids, but still. I seriously don’t think it’s too scary for an eight or nine year old Eighth, I don’t want your crusty F4F. I mean, advertising is one thing but those whiny kids who all they do is go “cAn YoU fOlLoW fOr FoLlOw???” and “i’Ll GiVe YoU eArLy AcCeSs tO mY gAmE iF yOu FoLlOw Me!1!!1!11!” And then you play it and it’s a hunk of junk. Ninth, when Scratch says the music in your project is “inappropriate” because it says “d” in it, so you censor it and they still say it’s inappropriate. Last but not least, when people mass report a couple of your projects and you get perma banned.
