why the lorax is the best movie, explained by yours truly 1. it’s funny 2. relatable characters 3. the songs <33 4. the life lessons let me go in-depth about my passion for this, one moment >:) i cannot explain enough how important this movie is my favorite part in the whole movie is in the song titled “how bad can i be”, specifically in the part where the onceler becomes a large man and starts stomping around. in this moment you can see how truly bad he is, because he represents the human population as a whole. he doesn’t think he’s doing anything wrong but you can see how horrible the outcome is. he believes he’s helping the economy to make thneeds and he’s doing what will help him (the human population as a whole). this movie is so much more than a funny little thing with odd characters and rhyming, it’s telling an important story that needs to be heard. additionally, you can tell how brainwashed the community of thneedville is, and they’re willing to buy and believe anything. it’s a great movie, and i will always argue that it’s the best movie. it teaches a young audience to step up and take action in order to save the earth. ( disclaimer : trees cannot be planted everywhere, as different biomes and environments scarcely have trees and planting them in those specific biomes would not be natural at all. a goal we should all have is to keep the world as a whole natural. )
