' Dis - par - age - ment - ia A sister illness to Paranoid Personality Disorder, Disparagementia is a mental illness that is known for making those with the illness have a tendency to betray, backstab, and tell lies about others for no apparent reason. Symptoms can range from mild to severe. Reasoning for getting the illness is unknown. Most who contract it end up severely mentally damaged. Or, in other words, clinically insane. Victims of this illness tend to lose trust in /everything/, including themselves, their family, friends, and reality itself. They cannot tell what simply has verisimilitude from what is actually real. For example, someone with Disparagementia might mistake a realistic fiction novel for a non-fiction book, if they forget to look at the book itself to determine what it is. This makes it easy to identify those with the mental illness, making it even easier to contain. Some of the symptoms of Disparagementia are: - Realistic and oddly specific hallucinations - Irritated eyes - Strange sleeping habits - Nightmares - Sleepwalking - Severe hallucinations - Unconsciously made bodily injuries - Constant flinching - Refuses to shake hands... - Screams at seeing the color yellow - Sleep deprivation [Due to the nightmares] - Having breakdowns from something as simple as taking a walk The symptoms usually start off mild [with things like 'Irritated eyes', 'Nightmares', and 'Strange sleeping habits'] and gradually get worse, even to the point of some with Disparagementia hearing voices that aren't there. There is no 'cure' for Disparagementia as of yet, but we are working on various treatments. ' [ This is a fictional mental(?) illness of my creation! No, you may not use it, as I intend to try and make some sort of series out of this. May edit this later and add a drawing,,!! ]
