Welcome to Strategy on the Grid. In this game of strategic battle, your goal is to destroy all red units. You will spend action points to make moves that help you achieve this goal. Your remaining actions points are shown by the icon in the top left corner, which is draggable in case it gets in the way. Click camps and press a number key to spawn a unit. (6 action points) (1 = Soldier, 2 = Scout, 3 = Paladin, 4 = Ninja) Click a Soldier and press WASD to move them one space in the respective direction. (2 action points) Click a Scout/Ninja and press WASD to move them one space in the respective direction. (1 action point) Click a Paladin and press WASD to move them one space in the respective direction. (3 action points) When a unit moves to a space with an enemy unit, an additional action point is spent and the unit moving wins. If the unit moving is does not have an additional action point to use, the moving unit will lose, unless the moving unit has higher power than the stationary unit. Scouts = 1 power Camps = 2 power Ninjas = 3 power Soldiers = 4 power Paladins = 5 power You cannot see your enemies. However, if you select a unit, you will be able to see all enemies in a certain range around it. Some units can see further than others. Additionally, once you take out all enemy camps, all enemy units remaining will become visible. Sometimes you will find green dots on the map. "Attacking" these will spawn a blue unit that you can start controlling immediately. The enemy can do this too, spawning a red unit instead. If you're lucky, you can even summon a new camp, which will spawn at a random location. If you ever want to end your turn early, press space.
