but seriously what's so wrong with doing what you want with your own body? it's just as "bad" as getting an ear piercing. I am not "forever ruining my body and disrespecting everyone around me by wanting to look different" because I pierce my ears. just because you are physically incapable of imagining a world that exists outside of your arbitrary binary doesn't mean that every single person you meet has to hurt themselves to fit inside your dumb little box. if you think there are only your specific silly little genders in nature, you're wrong. do some research, mushrooms can have over 23,000 genders, and there are lions in the wild that have taken on opposite gender roles. studies in california in 19 FREAKING 72 discovered multiple islands with lesbian seagulls, clown fish will change genders if something happens to their mate. this is not the corruption of the human species, this has been in the animal kingdom since before you have, ancient egyptian civilizations had more than 2 genders, the neutral option even had a name: sḫt ("sekhet"), and they were even considered godly because they supposedly felt little to no strict bond between their identity and their gender, like that of the gods they worshipped. you can't ignore the scientific data forever.
