(quick tip that is very important to take into account): this isn't something that happens overnight, everyone is different and unique, it took me a year to see impacts on my grades. side note: this is coming from someone that improved from one A to more then HALF my grades consisting of A's and straight C to B in math within a year. everyones brain works differently so these tips might not work for you, but these tips just seem to work for me.
∙ don't procrastinate no matter how much you wanted to watch that new season of your anime you might regret it when it comes near to your due dates or exams. ∙ even if your just in middle school try to listen in science, math classes because it will get much harder and you will be introduced to subjects like calculus, chemistry, physics etc which all comes to the roots of math and science your learning your basics for a reason. ∙ when studying for math or science, try focusing on remembering formulas. ∙ revise everything you did at school after school and ask if you dont understand something. ∙ be greedy sometimes and ask you teacher for more and more feedback on your essays, scripts etc. ∙ read your criteria sheets if you were given one. ∙ i recommend studying in the morning when your brain is all fresh and would remember things easier rather then in the afternoon or night when you are all tired from school. ∙ we are all different but i personally think that you shouldnt listen to music when learning math, science, or writing essays etc since i dont recommend multi-tasking. but i think its fine when you have fully understand what you are doing like just doing some math homework that you 100% understand or writing some science notes. ∙ definitely eat before exams but dont eat too much since you might feel drowsy but students who eat breakfast before exams preform better in exams. so just dont over eat. ∙ write as many notes as you can during classes that require lots of knowledge for the exam. (example if you are in chem it is recommended by me to take as many notes so you fully understand the terminology) ∙ do.your.homework, especially if its subjects like math etc they give it for a reason it would most likely be on the exams. what i normally do is write my working out and answers on a seperate piece of paper and save my physical homework for when its near exams to revise and practise. ∙ learn your basics!! (subjects like math, chem, calculus) ,,most of these tips are more targeted to STEM subjects since they require lots more learning, memorising, etc. for subjects like english, modern history etc i think you should really just read for these subjects. like about this histories and reading in general to enhance your vocab since subjects like this usually are assigned to like essays or presentations not much of written exams that you answer,, ----thank you so much if you read all of my tips i greatly appreciate it i do hope that some of my tips will come to use for you in the future and goodluck with your schooling and education i wish you all the best dont give up it took me 5 terms (australian curriculum 1 term is 10 weeks one year has 4 terms) for me to get a B in math from C (proof it is possible even if math isnt your greatest area!!)---- ㅤ,,props to the people that read my wordy tips :'),, ㅤ
