Scratch Newspaper Camp is a month long camp designed to help you with four things, or just a few if you feel like it, Designing, Editing, Researching and Journalism. Similar to other scratch camps, SNC offers dailies, weeklies and many more opportunities. --- Information: - This session will run in the month of September and two weeks into October due to the fact that Newspapers take a little longer to put together. It is not required to be that active in the last week and a half. - If you would like to help spread the word about this camp, it would be a great help if you advertised this project in “advertise-here” studios, whether you’re a leader or not. (Please do so!) - We appreciate everyone who signs up! The more applicants the more cabins we may consider! - We have a few committees open, and the mbc is open for past campers and/or past leaders! - What do we look for in the applications? > Creative Theme, Good QUALITY Answers, and personality. - You can write your answers in the description but you may lose the points for the Creative theme. We understand if you do though. --- Cabins: Due to the limited applicants for campers last session, we had a small amount of campers in each cabin so to start off with we will have three cabins: - Reporter - Journalist - Designer Sadly Editor or any other cabins we were hoping to introduce have been taken off the list, but you can help change that by advertising this project and the camper signups! --- Camper Signups: Depending on how we think participation it may be released earlier than the 1st of August, but it will be released by that date. This can be found on @Flowerelf371 's profile. Please signup! You can asked to be notified below! --- FAQ: - What do we do? Every week/fortnight we publish a newspaper that compiles work presented by campers. - Do I have to do the role that is described in my cabin's name? No! We allow anyone to do whatever role they wish, this camp is about exploring all four roles after all! - How long will Newspapers take to come out? Maybe a few days to a week. But they will be out on a separate SNC account! - Last session there was lots of inactivity from the participants and leaders. Will this happen again? Hopefully not, this session the (co)hosts and (co)leaders are planning ways to avoid this, this session will be improved and planned out more efficiently so you have nothing to worry about! - When will the results be out for this?
