Welcome to System Defender! NOTE: In order to save progress, you must not close your tab. I repeat, do NOT close your tab! You must protect the mainframe by placing cannons to shoot enemy bots. Cannons cost energy, which is obtained by killing bots. You will start with energy, too. To place a cannon, open the shop using the button located at the top right corner of the screen. Then, click on a cannon you would like to purchase. Cannon costs are listed right below the cannon. Once your cannon is following you, move your mouse to an outlet to place the cannon. The cannon will automatically snap to a nearby outlet. If you would like to discard your cannon, simply click on it and then click on the trash icon at the bottom left corner of the screen. These cannons have different statistics. RED: Cheap cannon. Shoots at a mediocre speed, mediocre damage, a mediocre range. YELLOW: Long-range cannon with relatively high damage. Slow reload time. GREEN: Fast firing cannon with little range and small damage. PURPLE: Heavy hitting cannon with very high damage. Extremely low reload speed and somewhat big range. You may also find gears in the shop. Gears are used for upgrading your cannons. To use a gear, click on it, and then drag it to a cannon. Then, click on that cannon. When a bot is killed, you will be rewarded with energy. Energy is used to build cannons and upgrade them using gears. Bots may also drop batteries, which give a bonus of energy. If you're lucky, a boss bot (large) might drop a gear as well. If your cannons fail to eliminate a bot before it reaches the end of the pathway, your mainframe loses health. If your health dips below 1, you lose the game! Different enemies also have different statistics. RED: Well-rounded enemy that does good at everything, but doesn't excel at anything. YELLOW: Fast enemy with reduced health. GREEN: Weak and slow enemies that have strength in numbers. WHITE: Very speedy enemies that are killed easily. PURPLE: Extremely high health bots. Usually travel in small groups to make way for other bots. If you complete your mission (surviving all waves of bots), you will be prompted with a screen of "mission complete!" This means that you have won the game. You will unlock the next stage as well, if applicable.
Is this game compatible with turbo mode and fps extensions? YES! I have made the code so that if your computer can handle higher frames, the gameplay is the exact same between 30 and 60+ fps.
