BREATH OF THE CHASM - CHAPTER 4 By @aisyle Rated: NFE (Not for everyone) I snored loudly, and suddenly there's a loud thump and my beak hurts so much. I woke up, on the ground of the stable. I looked around frantically, right into the eyes of a Hylian. I screamed, but the Hylian grabed my beak, keeping it shut. He put a finger to his lips, telling me to be quiet. I looked behind him and see two other Hylians, all of them are armed with good weapons. I tried to call to Kheel, but the Hylian has a good grip on my beak. He narrowed his eyes at me and whispered something to one of his followers. She handed him a piece of rope. Let me just get this in, I hate rope, unless it's on a bow. It's can do too much stuff if you ask me. It can tie things, be woven into things, save lives and much much more. The Hylian wrapped the rope around my beak, but it slides off, I used this as an opportunity to call out. "Kh-" The Hylian held my beak again, but this time I struggle, kicking him with my claws. The Hylian used this other hand to pin me down and glares at me. He gestured for his follower to tie my beak shut and they do, this time they add a piece behind my head, to keep it shut. Suddenly I kicked the Hylian as hard as a could and struggled to my feet, desperately trying to get the rope off me. POOF! I couldn't see anything, but a bright light. He must have thrown a dazzlefruit because when I can see again, the Hylian has me pinned. He ties my wings to my side and tossed me on his shoulder. Just then Kheel yawns, opening her eyes. All I can see is shock and terror, she grabs my bow, as quickly as possibly, just as the Hylians notice her. She fumbles with the arrow, but manages to shoot one of the Hylians that ran at her. He yelled out in pain and suddenly he wasn't a wearing Hylian clothes anymore but red armor and a white mask. His yell woke up the man at the counter, who had been knocked out, "Hey!" He yelled, but he couldn't do much. The female Yiga quickly and gracefully kicked the man down. He crumbled to the floor. "Let's get out of here," she said. I looked from the man's shoulder as he ran out. Kheel screamed and shot another arrow, a critical hit to his chest, nearly hitting me. The man groaned and turned around. "Let me take her out first," he told the female Yiga before dropping me. I just saw it from a bad angle, my face to the ground, but when I turned, I nearly screamed. The Yiga had Kheel by the neck against the wall. She gasped and her hand flew to her pouch, before the Yiga could even react, she had pulled out her Feathered Eagle and slashed at his wrist. He yelled in pain, grabbing his arm, "You little-" Kheel was off. She sprinted towards me and began sawwing through the string holding my beak. The instant it was off I managed to grab my bow with my feet and pull the string back with my beak. WHAM! The female Yiga grabbed her arm in pain. Using her other hand, she pulled out her sickle and advanced towards me. “Tulin!” Kheel shouted, she ran towards the Yiga, her Eagle raised above her head. She barreled straight into the Yiga and managed to cut her cheek right as the last Yiga grabbed Kheel’s wrist. With a crack, Kheel screamed and dropped her Eagle. It clattered to the ground and the man picked it up, holding it at Kheel’s neck. “You come with us, Tulin,” he breathed heavily. I aimed at him, but I couldn’t get myself to release. If I missed, Kheel could be hurt. I muttered my first curse and dropped my bow. The female Yiga recovered and grabbed me. And everything went black.
