(This is one of my older, recovered projects) Welcome to my newest, and first (technically) finished game, Super Mario: Sunset Journey! You can use arrow keys, WASD, or the mobile joystick to move around. (The joystick doesn't show up until you tap the screen as a convenience for PC gamers.) ----------------------------------------------------------------- Walk: ←/→ Jump: ↑ Crouch: ↓ Wall Jump: ↑ when sliding on a wall* Dive: ↓ in midair Go into pipes: ↓ Go into doors: ↑ (Some doors are one-way) *Mobile users: ←/→ when running into a wall works too - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Shoot fireball: [SPACE] (↓ for mobile users) Float with tanooki tail: ↑ or [SPACE] Spin tanooki tail: [SPACE] on ground (↓ for mobile users) By the way, yes, this was project SUNSET
TIP: Pipes without Piranha Plants in them usually have secrets! I made this game for @NightCat28's contest, and it was easily my best game I'd made; the art and code was a LOT better than anything I'd done before, with two massive levels, the fire flower and tanooki suit, and a bunch of custom mechanics. This project is also pretty much my turning point for my Mario games - a lot of improvements stayed constant from this game onwards. Smooth scrolling, crouching/wall jumping being a given, and custom music, among other things. I was planning to expand it even more originally with way more content, but I plan on remaking this game as Super Mario Within Scratch instead.
