Devlog: V2.1: 21st July 2023 I haven't had much motivation to keep this project going as I've got other games to work on such as, Scratch Collection and my retro-style fighter. Today, I decided that I'd add A and D controls instead of just the arrow keys. V2: 12th July 2023 I have fixed the glitched and it works pretty exceptional for now, all I need to do is add art, polish it, fix small visual problems and then I'll have a good game. Sadly, I have not changed the artwork or any visual effects or assets. Currently, the player is a crimson oblong that has no animation when moving, the player teleports to the destination upon pressing the arrow keys. The stairs are uncomplicated raven parallelograms that don't have any animations anyhow, the plane just sits in the air whils the player jumps on them. In future updates, I wish to make the game look astonishing. V1: 10th July 2023 It's bit broken as of now but it seems like an easy fix. This is the first build of my stair tapper game. everything here is going to be updated to make it look astounding.
This game's scripts are surprisingly complex and difficult to add more too. The movement script (only for one direction) contains 102 blocks. There are 2 directions, so that's 204 blocks just for the character to move. I'm sure there's easier ways of creating it but the one I made is so difficult to manage and huge, that I barely understand it myself. I'm perplexed, flabberghasted and wholly flummoxed that it doesn't lag on my PC (Personal Computer).
