Episode 3: Bella's Story Transcript: Today I will be reading a Lost Story written as fanfiction of a children's cartoon called Gravity Falls. According to the writer it takes place a couple hundred years or so before the show takes place. The story has yet to be titled. Introduction It started two years ago. Two full years, and yet no one knows how to fix it. We have been living just outside the line. This line was the line between the world we know and pure chaos. Our house- if you can call this run down shack a house- is directly outside of the line. On our side of the line, peace, nature, warmth, and comfort. On the other side, fire, chaos, and pain. All that I've known was on that side. That side was like this side once. That was until my uncle Bill disappeared. He was gone for four months. He came back one day and told my father that he could not live in a world with dreams as flat as the world. Of course I didn't know what he meant, and still don't to this day. The world hadn't changed while he was gone. No, he had changed. Father says my uncle is dangerous, so I'm not allowed to cross the line. I would not want to anyways. Father said it was the Axolotl that allowed Bill to have such a large space to- well I don't know what he does in there. But if the Axolotl says to do something, you do it. Even Grandma allowed Bill to have land, and that's saying something. So, my name is Bella Cipher, daughter of Will Cipher. This is my story. CHAPTER ONE ONE YEAR LATER Today I was studying in history class about how the rivalry between the upper class Circles and lower class Triangles. It had been a lasting feud for ages. I just so happened to be lower class. I’ve never been jealous of the high class students (my school allowed upper, lower, and middle classes to attend, although some of us Triangular folk got bullied). Mid class people were the oddballs of society, the undefined beings. My school was only a few units away from my house. My fourteenth summoning day is tomorrow and I’m very excited. It’s a right of passage to gain access to the family journals on your fourteenth summoning day. I'm sure my family's journals are filled with amazing facts and discoveries. The last two hours of class fly by. As I'm walking into my house I look back and see something strange. A big black dot over Uncle Bill's land. I brush it off, what do I care what he does with his land? Now I'm wondering how he does that. Father says Bill has stronger powers than him. I have yet to get my powers. When I get inside, I go straight to my room and go to bed because I want to wake up for my summoning day.
