I spent about thirty minutes just making the lighting just right, then 1-2 hours making the landscape. I am no expert on this, and if I could make something as beautiful as that picture, then imagine what professional game industries could do. If you are thinking about moving to making 3D games, then I highly recommend learning roblox studio. It's free, not difficult to learn, and is basically the next step making scratch games.
