Training Update .2

Instructions

1 - So before we begin today I'd like to introduce everyone to my newly adopted daughters! Sofia and Bailey! Sofia is 15 and the one in the pink shirt and Bailey is 13 and in the blue shirt. 2 - We started out by going to the barn and seeing if there were any horses the girls liked and Sofia immediately fell in love with Ace! 3 - We tried out Pegasus for Bailey but Pegasus got excited and spooked Bailey who tripped :( 4 - Then we went out to the paddock and found Ivy who was much calmer than Pegasus and Bailey and her were a perfect match! 5-8 - We went to the wash pit and groomed and tacked the horses. 9 - Sofia wanted to start in the arena with a warm-up so I agreed while I watched the girls trot around. I noticed that Sofia was very comfortable and seemed great with horses! While Bailey seemed okay she didn't seem like she spent as much time around horses as she wished. 10 - I told the girls we would go on a trail ride to the beach and Sofia begged me to let her ride bareback, I was a little hesitant at first but Sofia seemed to know enough to ride bareback, Bailey told me she would be more comfortable with tack though. 11-12 - The trail ride was pretty smooth perfect day for it <33 13 - We cooled down the horses in the paddock :) 14 - Bailey untacked Ivy while I gave her some pets. 15 - Sofia put Ace back in his stall 16 - I videoed the girls playing in the foal paddock (So cute <333) 17 - I decided to show the girls their new rooms! Sofia was so excited to see her whole room! *Death warning* 18-20 - So some of you may have noticed "Wait Bailey isn't from CAC..." And if you did you're right I actually got a call from my sister about a girl she was fostering she said that her name was Bailey and her dad had left when she was a baby and not too long ago her mother passed away leaving Bailey to go through tons of foster homes and eventually ending up at my sister's my sister then said she loves horses because she also went to one foster barn and sadly it burned down causing her to move again so I obviously offered to house her down here. She and my sister agreed and here we now I've actually had Bailey for a few weeks now when I made the big decision to adopt her! Even though she's here she still seems sensitive and kind of distant when I noticed she had a very precious stuffed animal that was a border collie her mom gave her so I got her a border collie puppy! This is a therapy dog because Bailey tends to go through spirals and has Panic attacks sometimes he was just perfect for her and she was so thrilled to have a puppy!
