(don't mind it...) This piece also took me way too long, and I definitely put more effort on the background, even though it's just a bunch of clouds haha... I also had many dilemmas on whether a small change would look better or worse for the piece. Also, sorry about the weird "texture," on Slide #7.1. By adding the noise layer, I think Scratch's pixels made it look kinda weird 1 ‣ Okay... I know it looks like a deformed noodle person right now, but it gets better :D 2 ‣ This was the first time in a while that I actually went in and did a new lineart layer... I think it was because my sketch was so bad hehe~ 3 ‣ I tried to make the slide process more logical by actually doing base colors first... It felt too long that way because I normally render one object first and then move on to the next (prob not a great strategy) 4 ‣ I darkened her hair more to contrast the ribbon, and added darker shadows 5 ‣ I added highlights, (finally!) which felt rewarding as her eyes looked [ded] without the highlights... 6 ‣ Added flyaways on her hair and that's it... But I spent many hours just trying to make sure they looked good, and I'm not completely satisfied with them, but I didn't know what I could fix? 7 ‣ Finally, I finished! I had to restore it 6 times because it was a large file and kept crashing... it took way. too. long. to restore each time -_- 7.1 ‣ This is just the "vintage" version of #7, by adding noise and other things that makes it feel older... On IbisPaintX it looks a lot smoother and less noticeable, but on Scratch I didn't expect it to look so... grainy?
