To the commenters who claim my art is fake: (not a real project) I know I receive a lot of positive comments and I'm truly grateful for them, and I also want to prove a point to the other people… u don't have to read it [but you won't see many negative comments cuz I delete them hehe >:)] I've been receiving some hate comments recently claiming that my art is fake, and that it's AI generated, stolen, downloaded, etc., My art, and anything else that I post is created by me, unless stated otherwise in the credits section of the description box. (Noticed how I state that the art is made by myself in the credits section, unless one decides not to "expend their energy by scrolling to meaninglessly read 3 words…") ^ I promise I don't actually speak like that haha Those commenters don't really have a reason to claim my art is fake, or even going so far as to try and convince others that it's fake: 1) How rude can you be? This might sound like I'm overreacting, but by posting h@te comments, you're kind of asking to be reported... 2) I put a process for a reason: It makes the project longer, but also is proof that I made it. AI doesn't generate half-made anime art, and one would have to be really determined to ignore the fact that there's a process?? I didn't download it from some secret website to try and get followers if that's what some people really think?? 3) It's not really working, no one really believes those comments. I'm grateful for the people who stand up against those comments (thank you! <3) I'm not trying to be narcissistic and claim that my art is "so good" that it must be fake, nor am I claiming to be an "awesome artist" or something like that, I'm basically just trying to state my point for those commenters (you know who you are). The following section "reasoning against ___" is my (not super great) proof that I made my art, not of stealing it or whatever: ‣ Reasoning against AI art: First of all, I must say that I kinda ¹ h@te AI art and am against it, because robots don't even think when they draw- they just generate. Basically, these AI art generators are huge databases of collected art from REAL artists, that study and analyze the drawings to create so-called "art." Without actual artists, AI art generators would not exist, obviously proving that art is real. Sounds weird when I say it like that, but if artists can draw cool stuff, why couldn't some random person on Scratch do it? (again, I'm not saying my art is amazing. It's not) ‣ Reasoning against Downloaded/Stolen art: I am an artist, and I wouldn't fake doing art. This is not supposed to be evidence, but that's not the point haha- Besides, if you try to Google Lens my art, you won't find the same art piece, because I didn't steal it off the Internet. I also have these very chaotic images of all my art in IbisPaintX, including long time lapses, my messy folders, etc., which I'm not going to show for privacy reasons… 1: Why do I h AI generated art? My reason above was not developed, so I'm writing it here. As I said, AI art generators are databases comprised of stolen art from artists, without their permission. Not only is that an ethics problem (who wants their art stolen?), but by taking random art off the Internet, it also creates art that's just- not okay (second ethics problem whose topic I'm not going to elaborate on because it's a bit too much for Scratch). I also don't want this world to be controlled by robots, and I could go on, but I think you get the point… When I say this, I'm not trying to make you pity me or whatever, but hate comments make me feel kinda sad. This sounds like my kindergarten teacher, but please think before you post a comment because there's always a person behind the screen. I put a lot of time and effort into my artwork, and it's rude to go hating on a piece of art that someone spends hours on, claiming that it's fake. I know this entire thing is quite petty, but I'm someone who comes up with arguments in my head, it's kinda useful? I doubt anyone needed that much to be convinced, but congrats if you actually read through this thingy… sorry for wasting your time lol
