In the past couple of months, I have noticed that so much has happened to multiple Scratchers around the platform such as @CatGPT_on_Scratch. One of the fastest growing Scratchers on the platform! It's really sad as people get banned and get there projects mass reported for no reason. Like a personal friend of mine, got IP banned, and there is no going back. Scratch has turned into something completely different. --- When I started Scratch 4 years ago, the community was so supportive, and very kind to one-another. Hardly anyone had been banned, and people were still happily scratching without fame a greed in there minds. Griffpatch had just made on of the most popular projects on Scratch. I doubt he did it for fame. He probably just did it so people could have fun Now things have turned. People put clickbait on there Thumbnails, and do most of the things to get either featured of on trending. They spam Tags to get a higher chance of being popular which really disappoints me. Scratch is meant to be a platform for sharing your amazing projects that you spend a lot of time on. Not spin off projects that take no time to make, and get tag spammed. All of this needs to stop. And if it doesn't stop, Scratch will never be what it used to be. At this trajectory, things will never be back to normal. Projects will continue to be mass reported, and people will be reported by big mobs, and multiple other people. It will be sad to see other people be banned, but there's nothing we can do. And before I finish, Name sniping also needs to stop. Like now. Their are less and less chances to choose names, as people keep name sniping. I tried to pick a name, and It didn't work. I checked the profile, and it was a new Scratcher who had joined 2 years ago. This is also a big problem with this (now) toxic platform. And last but not least, Advertising. Now, this topic does come under greed and fame. But I though to mention it separately anyway. Advertising has become a big thing in popular projects, and chain-mail. I have personally received quite a lot of advertising such as "JOIN MY CONTEST *link*". This is a big problem. fame and greed have gotten into peoples heads, and theres no taking it out. Again, Scratch is NOT what is used to be, and that honestly sucks. New Scratchers are joining and thinking that all of the above is good and allowed, but it's really not. It never was. All this needs to stop, Now. Before it's too late, and things get out of hand. The platform is in desperate need at this point. If you want to show your support in desperate times, please forward this to as many studios, etc as possible. We need to get the word out. Thank you everyone. Love you guys :> (tags so we get more recognition. Please forgive me)
