My whole entire house was shaking, and I felt as if I couldn’t grab on, being pushed off of a huge cliff, into a pool of Everblaze. Melian had the traditional cloak of the Neverseen worn over her torn brown tunic, scars of blood and bruises all over her once beautiful face. She grasped my mother’s shoulders, and tied her around a tall brown pole, near the creek where we always have gatherings. “This is your last chance,” she said in a low voice. Dad gets out of the house, with both fists out and his angry glare gazed at Melian. “MELIAN!” He shouts. “You are a disgrace to our family. I STILL CAN’T BELIEVE YOU DID THIS! IF KENRIC WAS STILL ALIVE, HE WOULD BE VERY UPSET.” I have never seen dad yell like this in my entire life. He reminds me of Grandpa Grady, and how he trusted Brant, only to find out that he joined the Neverseen and was trying to trick Jolie into joining. Mother told me the entire story. “I still can’t believe you, Melian.” I said, with a brave look on my face. “You just lied to us, straight into our faces!” “Melian, you are one bad person.” Melian was cackling through her stupid charming face, and was drowning out the screams of the others that are suffering around her. She finally stopped laughing, and picked up her sword, pointing it directly at Sandor. But it was too late. He was gone, and me and my parents were the only ones standing, while the Neverseen surrounded us, with weapons in their hands…
